Accommodation Applications

Massey – Palmerston North – Due now or at the latest by Sept 15th

               They will contact you by mid Oct for confirmation of placements

               Deposit will be due when you send back your acceptance letter $300

               Cancellations need to be in writing before Jan 31 and you receive back $250

 

Otago – Applications due NOW or by Sept 15^th

             Once you have received an acceptance letter you have to send in a $900 deposit

             If you cancel in writing before Feb 1^st you will be refunded $600 - $300 is an administration fee that is non-refundable.

 

Waikato – Applications are online as of Aug 1st and due anytime before Oct 1^st

                 You need to respond within two week once you receive your letter with a deposit of $400

                 If you cancel in writing before 26^th of Jan you will receive $300 back

 

University of Auckland - Applications open on Aug 1^st and due before Oct 1^st

                                                There is a $75 application fee – non-refundable

                                                Deposit of $650 needs to be sent in within two weeks

                                                 If a written cancellation letter is sent in by _______ all $650 is refunded

                                                ALL FEES MAY CHANGE SEE WEBSITE AS OF AUG 1

Victoria University – Applications open on Aug 1^st and due before Oct 1^st with a non-refundable $75 Administration fee        

                            A deposit of approx $500 (varies between halls) must be paid when you accept the offer

                            Cancellation before the date on contract – all but the administration fee with is refunded. 
                                                    

AUT –   You should apply as early as possible because rooms fill up quickly.

            Apply at the same time that you apply to enroll in your course at AUT

 

            You do not have to wait for your course enrolment application to be processed 
            before you apply to live in student accommodation.

 

            You are always welcome to visit our campus before you apply to live in AUT student accommodation. 
            Generally, we are unable to show you inside an apartment or room because these are occupied.

 

            The have only 2 residence halls - Non- refundable bond - $400 one time placement fee of $150

University of Canterbury - Applications open on Aug 1^st deadline is before Oct 1

                                Deposit varies depending on your selected hall – needs to be made on     
                                acceptance of accommodation – around $700-$850. 

                                Cancellation if in writing by beginning of Feb – but administration fee is non-refundable – 
                                Check website after AUG 1^st for exact cost for 2011
