English

Through the study of English students will become life long learners who are able to communicate clearly and effectively, to think critically and participate fully in the world.
Through developing literacy skills and passing on a passion for reading we hope to open up new worlds for students to explore.
Knowledge, and the confidence to express oneself, empowers people and this is essential for students to be full participating members of society.
Students should also gain encouragement and enjoyment from the programme.
